Xiamen University Affiliated Xiang'an Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "Xiang'an Hospital") is a tertiary Grade A non-profit public hospital jointly built by the Xiamen Municipal Government and Xiamen University. As the only directly affiliated hospital of Xiamen University, Xiang'an Hospital adheres to the university motto of "self-improvement and striving for excellence" and the founding philosophy of "exquisite medical skills and benevolent heart". With the goal of being "first-class domestically and internationally renowned", it has been built according to the standards of a tertiary hospital to become a comprehensive clinical research hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and prevention.
The hospital has two campuses, namely Xiang'an Campus (main campus) and Siming Campus (branch campus, Xiamen University Hospital). The Xiang'an campus covers an area of 240000 square meters, with a planned capacity of 3000 beds. Currently, 120000 square meters of land have been invested, 1000 beds have been built, and the total construction area is 156800 square meters. The Siming campus covers an area of 11400 square meters, with a total construction area of 12900 square meters and 135 approved beds.
